Arrival, bikes and briefing. Take time to enjoy this beautiful port city, with its charming atmosphere, lovely waterfront restaurants and historical heritage.
Ride around Mahón to visit its fortress called La Mola and then along the bay to Mahón port, and from there to the city centre. After visiting the city we will leave Mahón to go to Cales Coves (a cove with prehistoric caves dug into the rock), Cala en Porter and its beautiful beach and Torre den Galmés, a talaiot period settlement. Accommodation in a typical menorquin rural house in Alaior in the centre of the island. 40 km - 25 miles
Today's ride is circular one. We will visit the northern side of the island, most of the time along a variety of inland landscapes (pine and holm oak forests, and agricultural terrain). Finally we reach the Cap de Favàritx to visit its extraordinary lighthouse surrounded by the lunar landscape. 41 km - 26 miles
The first part of the stage will lead us to the lighthouse of Cap de Cavallería, located on a spectacular cliff. When coming back from the lighthouse we can go down to the Cavalleria beach. We can not miss a visit to the Binimel·là beach and its lagoons and dunes. The route ends in Port Fornells. 38 km - 24 miles
Leaving Port Fornells we head towards Sant Tomás along the old Royal Pathway (Camí Reial). We cross the whole island from North to South to reach Sant Tomas beach. Our final stop is Cala Galdana, a huge bay with high cliffs dotted with pines and holiday complexes along with magnificent private houses. The beach is sandy with a gentle incline and the waters are crystal-clear. 35 km - 22 miles
First we visit the wonderful southern beaches of Turqueta and Macarella with high cliffs covered in pine-trees which drop down to pale white sand and crystal-clear water. The city of Ciutadella is a veritable jewel, built of limestone with its stately palaces and medieval paved streets. The town walls tell a story of feudal lords, medieval tradition and invading Turkish pirates. But the city has moved on within these historic surroundings, and filled the streets and little squares with charming outdoor cafes and designer shops. The sheltered harbour lies under the ramparts and has plenty of delightful restaurants to choose from. 35 km - 22 miles
We visit the wildest coast of Menorca. The coastline here is part of the stunning scenery of la Vall, which includes the hillside called Falconera (the cliff-face is 207 meters high), woods, lowlands, cultivated land, lakes, dune systems, spectacular gorges and unspoiled beaches. We will visit Algaiarens and Cala Morell. Cala Morell is a small natural harbour on the north coast of Ciutadella and the site of a beautiful necropolis. A set of fourteen artificial caves have been excavated in the rocky walls of a small ravine and formed one of the largest and most spectacular prehistoric burial sites on the island. It was used as a cemetery from the Naviforme era (1700 B.C.) up until the 2nd century A.D. Finally we return to Ciutadella. 36 km - 22 miles

Hybrid e-bike | Road E-bike |
The last few years have seen a revolution in the use of e-bikes. We now offfer e bikes on absolutely all of our rides. There are of course multiple advantages to using one on a bike tour:
The difficulty level is lowered by a grade. Thus an intermediate level tour becomes an easy tour as the motor assists pedalling.
The distance you can cycle on each day is effectively "reduced". Longer distances become accessible to a greater range of riding abilities.
Ability levels between riders on the same tour are levelled out as riders can choose an e-bike to enable them to keep up with stronger riders.
No more worrying about the hills!
So if you are in any doubt about whether a particular tour might be too challenging for you, then take the e-bike option. You can still get a good workout by keeping the pedal assistance level low. E-bikes are now available on all of our tours. And many have both the standard e-bike and also the road e-bike.
