Start day by trails along canals and rice fields. Ride with the company of birds and numerous storks. Cross a Sierra - the landscape changes suddenly, you left the plains and sandy pine forest and get into a up and down road through an incredible Cork Forest. Pass Santiago, a village with a Castle. Left Santiago by a road on the sierra and continue to Sonega Village. You will enter the Natural Park going to the sea and arrive to Porto Covo typical village

From here to the end of this tour you are in the Natural Park. Start day going inland till you get to Milfontes. Ride on SW Alentejano Natural Park with amazing views over the sea and visit stunning Sardão cape. Admire the incredible Stork chest's on the cliffs! Ride near spectacular cliffs and visit typical village Zambujeira. Continue through fields till you go down to a river. Crossing the river let's you came into a new region - the Wild Algarve!

Start the day going to one of the most beautiful scenery of this coast - Odeceixe beach! After crossing a plateau you will go down again for more incredible beaches. Then follow a valley where once caravels sailed to the village of Aljezur about 5 km inland. Go up the narrow streets through typical houses and get up to the medieval castle of Aljezur! Ride through some forests and get again close to sea by typical village of Bordeira. Ride through beautiful valleys till you get to a typical and old village once abandoned and recovered as a hotel.

Where land end and sea begin. Bike from Pedralva to Sagres - (57km, 650m elevation gain, 60% Off-road).
Return to the sea, passing Carrapateira village and follow a dirt road along the sea that shows this region at its most beautiful. Pass by stunning beaches, with incredible colourful cliffs. Go up on a dirt road under through a beatiful round pine forest. Relax on flat road for a while and go again close to sea by a amazing dirt road over the cliffs and crossing beautiful beaches. Some steep up hill to get out of the beaches! Then ride South along Algarve wild coast till Cape S. Vicente - the southwestern-most point of Continental Europe.

Daily Stages: 57 to 87 km per day (average 70km cycling per day)

Route: 70% road / 30% off road. Mostly flat, with a hilly region and some valleys with short but steep ascents
Terrain: Some rough sections on the off road (gravel roads or double roads with some short sections of sand or rocks). We have paved road alternatives for all the off road sections (just some viewpoints could not be seen from the paved road)
