Delivery of the GPS and necessary documentation in our office. Bike fitting. The first day we will discover the inland country side of Llémena Valley with his big ancient farms. After riding around the small volcano of Adri , we continue crossing some humid and wooded areas. Today is a warm up ride.

    65 km - 40 miles (670 m +)

  3. 3 Girona 58 km Sant Feliu de Guíxols

We start south and across the plain to Llagostera. From there we start the climb of Sant Grau (465m). After passing the col we enjoy a great descent with fantastic views over the Mediterranean Sea. This coastal road has been used for the Tour de France in 2009. We finish our ride at the beach of Sant Pol, just beside the Sant Feliu main beach.  58 km / 36 miles (670 m +)

  4. 4 Calella de Palafrugell 37 km Torroella de Montgrí

Starting from Sant Pol, we will cross Platja dAro, Calonge and Palamós, 3 seaside villages. Also on the coast we reach Calella, a pretty fishing village with houses right on the beach. After that we climb to Begur and reach the Gulf of Pals with its long sandy beach. From there we ride inland to Pals a famous medieval village with beautiful narrow paved streets.  After crossing some more medieval villages we reach Torroella de Montgrí, just under its castle on the top of the mountain.61 km / 38 miles (485 m +)

  5. 5 Torroella de Montgrí 52 km Roses

Today is an easy ride, first towards the beaches in Empúries and l'Escala. In Empúries you should take the time to visit the archeological site Empúries with Greek and Roman ruins dating from 600BC, the gateway of the classic cultures to the Iberian Peninsular. The route then passes through Castelló dEmpúries with a stunning cathedral that shows how important this village once was. From there we will cross a small wetland with an ornithological reserve, finishing in the village of Roses. 52 km / 32 miles(190 m +)

  6. 6 Roses 59 km Figueres

The ride climbs the mountain pass of the Perafita. We reach Cadaqués, where the famous artist Dalí used to live. Optionally you can discover the amazing Cape (Cap de Creus), where you can see the Pyrenees across the Natural Park. Coming back you climb Perafita again, and you start descending to reach Port de la Selva. From there, another climb brings us up to the abbey of Sant Pere de Rodes and later we descend to Figueres where we will overnight and take the opportunity to visit the Dalí Museum.  59 km / 37 miles (890 m +)
